When you use our service, we collect:
- Business information — business name, type, address, and employee count, as entered in the questionnaire
- Your name — as the data controller for your business
- Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card details.
- Usage data — pages visited, time on site, and browser type, collected via Google Analytics
- Email address — if you contact us for support

4. How long we keep your data
We retain your order data (business information and generated documents) for 12 months from the date of purchase. After this period it is securely deleted. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by HMRC regulations.
5. Who we share your data with
We share data only with the following processors:
- Stripe — payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy)
- Google Analytics — anonymised usage analytics
- OpenAI — document generation (business data is sent to generate your documents and is not used to train AI models)
We do not sell your data to any third party.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk

7. Cookies
We use Google Analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our site. These are anonymised and do not identify you personally. By using our site you consent to these cookies. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tool.
8. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers in raw form. Generated PDF documents are stored securely and accessible only via a unique order link.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
